Last updated: 15 September 2026

This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website or contact us.

## Who is responsible?

Whitesides Publishers International ApS, CVR 46651790, is the controller. Our postal address is Søtorvet 5, 1371 København K, Denmark. For questions about your data or to exercise your rights, write to [post@whitesides.dk](mailto:post@whitesides.dk) or call [+45 32 33 10 88](tel:+4532331088).

## When you visit this website

Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Technical data such as your IP address, the requested page, the time of access and information about your browser may be processed to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect it from misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

We do not run advertising trackers, visitor analytics, contact forms or user accounts on this website. Fonts and the logo are served with the website; loading a page does not contact an external font service. We do not set cookies for marketing or analytics. Cloudflare may use technically necessary security cookies when applying protective measures. See [Cloudflare’s information about security cookies](https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/reference/policies-compliances/cloudflare-cookies/).

## When you contact us

If you email, call or write to us, we use the contact details and information you provide to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting correspondence. Telephone connection data and any voicemail you choose to leave may also be processed by our telephone service provider, FlyNumber. Our website’s email and telephone links open the relevant application on your device; they do not submit a form to this website.

For general enquiries, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with readers and potential collaborators, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Where your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract with you, Article 6(1)(b) applies. Where we must keep information to comply with a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) applies. Providing information is voluntary, but we may need your contact details and relevant context to answer you. Please only send information needed for your enquiry.

## Service providers and international processing

We use service providers for website hosting, email and telephone communication. They receive the information needed to provide those services. Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical website data may be processed outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Its data-processing terms provide for applicable transfer safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses where required. Details are available in [Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum](https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/) and [privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Our email service is provided by Migadu-Mail GmbH in Switzerland. Migadu processes email addresses, message content, attachments and technical delivery data to provide and secure email communication. Details are available in [Migadu’s privacy and data-processing terms](https://www.migadu.com/privacy/).

## How long we keep information

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. For correspondence, this depends on whether your enquiry has been resolved, whether an ongoing relationship requires the information, and whether legal retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims apply. Technical data is retained as needed for delivery, troubleshooting and security in the hosting service. This website does not maintain its own visitor database or separate visitor analytics archive.

## Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. We do not use this website to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

You can contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, [Datatilsynet](https://www.datatilsynet.dk/), or the competent supervisory authority where you live or work.
